A NEW GLOBAL PROJECT LED BY CROPS FOR THE FUTURE

The Forgotten Foods Network is a global project that is set to capture knowledge on the foods that used to feature in the diets of our ancestors and past generations. Some of these forgotten foods – from plants, animals, insects and marine life – could be our foods of the future. Some of the foods of the future can be found in the thousands of neglected species or underutilised crops.

To know more on how traditional foods and crops that our ancestors ate can play a vital role in food and nutrition security, read the policy brief “Forgotten Foods to Feed the Future”

FEED THE FUTURE WITH FORGOTTEN FOODS
